From a young age, society, our families, and our relationships with ourselves, have all impacted both the emotions we feel and how we express them. In this week's episode, I wanted to clarify on two seemingly contradictory concepts that I mention quite often on the podcast; that we need to practice truly feeling our emotions, but we must also not allow them to hijack our minds. This is an important factor in truly understanding oneself and living in a manner so that we are not at the whim of our emotions.
